The Poorest Preacher

The preacher is at the door of the church, shaking hands as the congregation is leaving.  Seven-year-old Billy is next in line.

"Good morning, Billy," says the preacher, reaching out to shake the boy's hand.  As he does so, he feels something that's been pressed into his palm.  It's a dollar bill.

"What's this?" asks the preacher.

"Money," says Billy. "It's for you!"

"I don't want to take your money, son," says the preacher.

"I want you to have it," says Billy. "My daddy says you're the poorest preacher we've ever had, and I want to help you."
