Died in Which Service?

One Sunday morning, the pastor noticed little Andrew standing in the foyer of the church, staring up at a war memorial plaque. It was covered with names. Walking up to the little boy, who'd been standing there for a very long time, the pastor said quietly, "Good morning, Andrew."

"Good morning Pastor," he replied, still focused on the plaque. "Pastor, what's this?"

"Well, son, it's a memorial to the young people from this church who died in the service."

The two of them stood there in silence, just taking in the list of names.

Finally, little Andrew spoke, his voice barely audible and trembling with fear: "Which service - the 8:30 or the 11:00?"
